A sharp eye, a refined talent, and a passion for excellent design keeps Anthony McDermid at the top of his industry. As the principal of TAParchitecture, Anthony has worked with additions, complexes, restorations, and renovations. His firm specializes in working out master plans for all types of building projects. Anthony’s portfolio includes projects such as The Factory in Bricktown, the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, the new Oklahoma Judicial Center, the City Rescue Mission and Bethany First Church of the Nazarene.

Having discovered his affinity for architecture in England at the University of Manchester, McDermid earned Bachelor degrees in Architecture and Arts in Architecture. This world view of architecture opened doors for McDermid including the I-40 Land Use Plan and Mitigation Study, Oklahoma City Galleria Redevelopment Study and the State of Oklahoma Lincoln Renaissance Project.

Mr. McDermid is an active part of the architecture community serving as president of the Oklahoma City Foundation for Architecture. He has also served as president for other organizations including the American institute of Architects/Central Oklahoma Chapter and the City Rescue Mission. McDermid keeps his schedule book full attending Board of Directors meetings for Automobile Alley, Downtown Stakeholders and the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce. He also belongs to Leadership Oklahoma City Alumni and the Downtown Oklahoma City Rotary Club.
